Open Position: Mobile Boutique Driver

Position Summary

The person who fills this role is a vital team member who is a representative of the organization while driving our Mobile Unit.  Responsible for the safe operation of the mobile boutique to assigned community sites and to assist with set up once on site. Reports directly to the Executive Director. The position is part-time, as needed, with a minimum of three hours per assignment. Email your resume to Success@dfstrianglenc.org.

Salary:  $20/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

●       Assists the organization promptly and courteously with transportation services.

●       Ensures a maximum level of customer service at all times.

●       Drives conservatively and safely.

●       Effectively communicates with the Executive Director to report any mechanical difficulties and/or maintenance needs of the company-owned vehicle.

●       Inspects vehicle before and after assignment, verifying fuel levels, cleanliness, and that everything is in good working order.

●       Assists with loading and unloading supplies and inventory into the vehicle if needed.

●       Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

●       Presents a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearance.

●       Adheres to all company policies and procedures and standards.

 Requirements:

●       Must possess a valid NC Driver’s License and an excellent driving record.

●       Ability to relate effectively in one-on-one situations with staff and volunteers.

●       Ability to apply common sense to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in oral or written form.

●       Ability to work unsupervised, self-directed, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

●       Must read, write, speak and understand English. Bi-lingual a plus.

●       Ability to be flexible with schedule.

●       Must pass background screening and drug tests.

●       High School diploma or GED required.
